Supporting our Armed Forces community on Remembrance Sunday

West Midlands Bus is proud to support our Armed Forces community, from offering free bus travel to poppy collectors to supporting customers and colleagues to honour those lost by marking the two-minute silence.

Free Bus Travel for Poppy Collectors and Uniformed Personnel

Poppy collectors and uniformed personnel can travel free on our bus services in the West Midlands and Coventry on Sunday 8th November and Wednesday 11th November 2026. To qualify, simply wear your service uniform or show your poppy collection identification badge.

Observing the Two-Minute Silence

Our drivers and staff will want to pay their respects where they are safe to do so; drivers will pull over to observe the two minutes’ silence at 11am on both Remembrance Sunday 8th November, and Armistice Day, Wednesday 11th November.

There is still time to show your support by donating to this year’s #PoppyAppeal here.
